Stuti Kantawala
I am a traditional artist, that has been experimenting with sketches, portraits and paintings.
For as long as I can remember, I have been in love with arts and crafts, starting my first drawing at an early age. My passion and confidence only increased after I gained a lot of appreciation from my family members. I developed my skill through watching YouTube videos and had a brief period where I got trained under Mr. Natubhai Patel to sharpen my raw skills. Art allows me to express myself and gave me a hobby to work towards. I don’t have a hard theory on what I try to communicate with my work, nor a message. I just love to draw and paint to tell myself a story and if others wants to come along, they are welcome!
A message to all young artists is that you must not forget the passion and love you once had when colouring at a young age. Don’t be afraid of failure, as it will only make you stronger. I encourage everyone to work towards your hobbies and creativity because all your hard work will certainly pay off one day.
I would just like to end with a quote that I hold dear to my heart and have used to motivate me further. “An artist can not fail; it is a success to be one.” ~ Charles Cooley
